Kooples

The recent opening of The Kooples store in London’s St Christopher’s Place marks a kind of a homecoming for a brand so stylistically steeped in Brit rock heritage. The minimal, monochromatic space reflects the sleek blank canvas appeal of a Designer boutique, allowing the trademark androgyny of the men’s and womenswear to co-exist harmoniously and undoubtedly merge within the quilted leather fitting room walls. Thanks to the collaborative input from Savile Row Tailor Norton & Son, the sharp, modern cut is the Parisian brand’s pièce de résistance. Following a huge launch campaign featuring snapshots of beautifully dishevelled couples, a French invasion is well and truly underway.
